U15s DEFENDERS NETBALL CLINIC – GOLD COAST

Designed specifically for developing netball defenders aged 13–14 years, this 1-hour clinic focuses on the movement, athleticism and defensive skills required to become a stronger and more effective defender.

Suitable for GK, GD, WD and defensive C players, with the session combining defensive movement, pressure, contesting and position-specific skills.

ATHLETES WILL WORK ON:

• Defensive footwork and agility

• One-on-one defence and body positioning

• Tracking and staying connected to attackers

• Closing space and applying pressure

• Reading play and creating intercept opportunities

• Recovery speed and defensive movement

• Hands-over pressure and clean contesting

• Vertical jump and aerial contests

• Rebounds and second efforts

• Defensive combinations and communication

• Position-specific skills for GK, GD, WD and C

Our goal is to develop defenders who can move confidently, apply consistent pressure, read attacking play and create more opportunities to win possession.
