SENIORS SHOOTERS NETBALL CLINIC – LARA

Designed specifically for developing netball athletes aged 14-16 years, this 1-hour clinic focuses on developing the shooting skills, movement, accuracy and decision-making required to become a stronger and more effective shooter.

The session is suitable for GS and GA players, with athletes challenged through position-specific shooting movements, circle combinations and game-based drills.

ATHLETES WILL WORK ON:

• Shooting technique, consistency and accuracy

• Maintaining shooting accuracy under fatigue and pressure

• Movement and footwork inside and around the shooting circle

• Holding space and creating strong positioning in the circle

• Front cuts, drives, rolls and changes of direction

• Timing leads and creating separation from defenders

• Receiving the ball safely under defensive pressure

• Rebounding and positioning for missed shots

• Shooter-to-shooter combinations and communication

• Circle-edge connections and attacking movement

• Decision-making against different defensive styles

• Position-specific skills for GS and GA

Athletes will learn how to use their footwork, timing, body positioning and shooting technique to create better scoring opportunities and remain composed when under defensive pressure.

Our goal is to develop shooters who can confidently create space, connect effectively with their shooting partner, make strong decisions in the circle and finish accurately under pressure.

COST: $90 AUD per athlete
