U15s DEFENDERS NETBALL CLINIC – WINDSOR
Designed specifically for developing netball athletes aged 13–14 years, these clinics focus on the skills, movement and physical qualities needed to become a stronger and more effective defensive player.
Suitable for GK, GD, WD and defensive C players.
DAY 1 – FOOTWORK & AGILITY
Day 1 focuses on improving how defenders move, react and change direction when applying pressure and staying connected to an attacker.
ATHLETES WILL WORK ON:
• Defensive footwork and movement mechanics
• Agility and quick changes of direction
• Tracking and staying with attackers
• One-on-one defensive movement
• Closing space and applying pressure
• Body positioning and recovery footwork
• Reading attacking movement
• Intercept movement and timing
• Position-specific footwork for GK, GD, WD and C

DAY 2 – SPEED & VERTICAL
Day 2 focuses on developing the speed, acceleration and aerial ability defenders need to compete for possession and create turnovers.
ATHLETES WILL WORK ON:
• Acceleration and defensive speed
• Explosive first-step movement
• Closing speed and recovery
• Vertical jump technique
• Take-off and landing mechanics
• Aerial contests and intercepts
• Timing and reading the ball in flight
• Hands-over pressure and clean contesting
• Applying speed and vertical ability to defensive situations

COST: $90 per athlete, per session
LIMITED TO ONLY 10 ATHLETES PER SESSION
Athletes can attend one or both days, with each clinic covering a different area of defensive athletic development.
Small numbers allow for more individual coaching, technical corrections and position-specific feedback throughout each clinic.
