CHAMPIONSHIP TRIALS

Welcome to Centurion Athletic Performance (CAP) Academy,

We are thrilled to announce the commencement of our third year of Championship trials! Reflecting on our successful season, we are incredibly proud to share that our team emerged victorious, claiming the championship 2 title once again. Building on that momentum, we are excited to welcome back the same grade and team structure, recognising the talent, dedication, and potential shown by the athletes who joined us last year.

Our Championship team, affectionately known as the “CAP Babies”, is designed for young and emerging netball athletes who are eager to learn, develop, and grow within a competitive environment. This team serves as an important stepping stone, helping athletes build confidence and prepare for future opportunities to trial and play for our Premier teams.

While we acknowledge the strong history and success of many established clubs across the Kapi Mana region, we believe the CAP pathway offers more than just game time. Our focus is on holistic athlete development, supported by high-performance resources and systems we have cultivated over the past eight years. As an academy, we are not limited to one sport, our mission is to create pathways that empower athletes to achieve their goals across multiple sporting codes.

Championship games are played on Saturdays between 9:00am and 12:00pm at Mungavin Courts. We understand that some athletes may have clashes with school netball, so we encourage families to discuss this prior to attending trials.

MORE INFORMATION FOR THE SEASON:

Championship Team- Saturdays games at Mungavin Courts

SEASON DATES: 2nd May to 22nd August

We have yet to confirm training days but, we train once a week (2hrs) at Mungavin Courts to cater for those who have reps, school netball training or other sports commitment.

TRIALS INFORMATION:

Our Championship team are open for ages 12+ years old.

CAP COMBINE DAY/GAMES DAY-  Sunday 22nd March, 12.30PM to 3.30PM @ Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua

This is the opportunity to showcase your fundamentals skills and movements. We will then finish off with games which is the opportunity to showcase your Netball Skills.

TRIALS FEE COSTS: $10 per Athlete. This must be paid before attending trials. Non-refundable even if you do not attend all trials. If you have signed up for Premier trials and paid for those trials, you won't need to pay for championship trials if you would like to trial for this team instead. Just please email our team to let us know.

Before you start your registration PLEASE take the time to consider your commitment to school/club and if you are willing to fully commit to the long season and all requirement we will ask from our Championship level team which includes all trainings and possible tournaments.
